I have been a homeschooler for 16 1/2 year. The first 14 in New York and now in GA. I have been a homeschooling mentor for nearly 13 years now, helping and encouraging new families. In NY, seeing the lack of diversity in the homeschool population, I started the “ABCs of Homeschooling” seminars to encourage Black and Brown folks to homeschool. This saw great success as the number of families of color nearly quadrupled in those areas the seminars were run. I was a Classical Conversations director in New York and ran that campus for three years.
