Bio
My name is Jennifer Hawkins. I have been married to my amazing husband, Tim for 27 years. We have two beautiful children, Ella (13) and Joshua (10). Some of my favorite things are a good cup of coffee, a beautiful crisp fall day, hearing my children laugh, a good book and spending time with friends. But I will have to admit, my most favorite thing is Jesus. My relationship with him and sharing his love outshines everything else. Among the multitude of blessings he has bestowed upon our family is the privilege to homeschool. We have been homeschooling from day one and truly love it!
For the past 8 years, my family and I have had the privilege to operate an “umbrella school” for homeschoolers or as our state calls it, “Equivalent Instruction Private School”. Freedom Christian Academy provides support, encouragement and the tools needed to aid families on their homeschooling journeys. I love talking about homeschooling and I love sharing the blessings it can bring. I look forward to the years to come, as Jesus guides and helps our family navigate through the adventure that is life and the joy that it brings.
