Bio
So glad you’re here!
My name is Roelien MacLeod; I am a Homeschool Mom to four beautiful children between the ages of 4 and 9. We live in East London, South Africa!
We started our Homeschooling Journey not so long ago, and it has been an absolute blessing to all of us. When we least expected, God answered our prayers by revealing such a beautiful purpose for not only me but our family as well. I cannot thank the Lord enough for his grace, favor, strength, and patience as he guides us through this incredible journey.
We follow an eclectic approach to schooling and the philosophy of Charlotte Mason. We strongly believe in Cultivated Learning – Cultivating a love for learning and a sense of wonder in a faith-based, safe environment where imaginations run free, and kindness is key.
A few years ago, I studied Events Management and Graduated from Bible College in 2019. I am a partner/owner at an Event Planning Business and so fortunate to work from home on a flexible schedule.
My greatest passions are Jesus, My Family, Homeschooling, and creating memorable events.
In my spare time, I love to read and bake; and if I am not doing that, you can then, most likely, find me by the river with my best friend /husband – Andrew – where we are probably trying our best to outfish each other!
