I’m a railroad wife and homeschooling work-at-home mom for a wonderful homeschool company! I have a slight obsession with books, love reading, and have been blessed to do reviews for publishers. I also enjoy watching sunsets, bird watching, hiking, Bible study, drinking coffee, and growing plants—though I don’t have the best green thumb! My husband and I have homeschooled our children from the beginning. It was one of the best decisions we have made for our family. Though some days are challenging, I would never change it! I will be going on ten plus years of homeschooling. Our homeschool name is Raising Arrows (Psalm 127:4).
When I first started homeschooling, a friend of mine introduced me to The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine and now I do the same: help and encourage new families starting the homeschool journey. No matter the age of your child, you can start!
