Bio
Natalie Mack is an author, speaker, and experienced military home educator, with over twenty-one years of service to military homeschooling families and military homeschool support group leadership. She is known for her words of encouragement and advocacy for homeschooling, particularly during the journey from high school to college. Natalie is a mom of five: three college graduates, one college junior, and a 10th grader. She is now experiencing new adventures as her husband, a Navy chaplain, recently retired after serving for 34 years.
Natalie currently serves as President of Fort Belvoir Home Educators, a military homeschool support group in northern Virginia. Natalie also owns Natalie Mack, LLC which provides mentorship to homeschoolers, advocacy for military homeschooling, and homeschool consultations to military-connected educational and Department of Defense organizations.
In 2020, she became an HSLDA High School Educational Consultant, and in 2021, she became the Military Community Outreach Coordinator. Natalie created and developed the HSLDA Military Community Outreach Program. She provides consultations and resources to military homeschoolers, school liaison officers, military homeschool support groups, and state homeschool organizations.
She has written several articles for The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, sharing her perspective on military life with the article “Fair Winds and Following Seas,” and on the sandwich generation with “5 Tips for Living Life in the Middle”. Natalie is the author of 101 Tips for Homeschoolers. She is currently writing a guide titled Homeschooling on the Move: Military-Style.
